Our 4 day  Cairns  Resort Dive liveaboard adventure includes 11 daytime resort scuba dives at beautiful Outer Great Barrier Reef locations, for those who do not hold a scuba diving license – no experience necessary!

The duration of this our 4 day liveaboard resort dive adventure  is 4 days (3 nights). Food, accommodation and scuba equipment hire are included onboard M.V. Reef Encounter – Our premier choice dive tour!

On Board Reef Encounter

Prior Requirements

  • Minimum age 12 years. Children under 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or adult
  • Compulsory dive medical in accordance with Australian Standard AS4005-1. It is law in Queensland that all scuba diving students get a medical check-up. Upon booking your course, you will be provided with information on how to get your medical check. Fee is payable directly to doctor.

Please read the terms and conditions of each Great Barrier Reef tour. Some medical conditions and/or medications may prevent from participation in scuba diving activities. We recommend that you do not fly in an aeroplane for at least 24 hours after participating in scuba activities.

1:30 pm Dive 1 with skills

How to get there

Your Great Barrier Reef liveaboard cruise begins on board our transfer boat, ‘Reef Experience’, from Cairns Marlin Marina ‘A Finger’. Boarding commences at 7:25am.

On the last day of your stay you will arrive back into Cairns at approximately 4:30pm.
